Nvidia RTX 4080 GPU could get less expensive with a new version – but don’t get your hopes up

Nvidia’s RTX 4080 is purportedly having a new spin on the GPU which could cut down the expense, but any selling price reduction will very likely be quite minimal, sadly, if it takes place at all.

Tom’s Components (opens in new tab) flagged up this rumor – and take care of it with warning, as with anything from the ever-spinning mill – that originated from HKEPC (opens in new tab) (a tech web-site in Hong Kong), proclaiming that while the current RTX 4080 graphics card is developed on the Advertisement103-300 chip, Nvidia is likely to use a a little unique GPU in the future, specifically Advertisement103-301.
