Bengaluru-based health-tech startup Orange Health Labs is set to raise Rs 277 crore (around $30 million) in a new Series C funding round. The round is being led by Iron Pillar India, with participation from some of the company’s existing investors.
Founded in 2020, Orange Health Labs has built its presence in India’s diagnostics sector by offering at-home sample collection and fast pathology test reports. The latest funding comes after an 18-month gap since its last investment round and is expected to help the company expand its business and strengthen its technology platform.
Fresh Capital to Support Next Phase of Growth
According to company filings, Orange Health Labs has approved the issuance of 4,579,270 Series C compulsorily convertible preference shares at a price of Rs 604.72 per share. Through this move, the company plans to raise a total of Rs 277 crore.
The new investment reflects growing confidence in the company and the wider diagnostics market in India. As more people choose convenient healthcare services, demand for home-based diagnostic testing has continued to increase.
Orange Health Labs has focused on making healthcare easier for consumers by offering doorstep sample collection and quicker delivery of test results. This model has become increasingly popular among working professionals and families looking for hassle-free healthcare services.
The participation of existing investors in the funding round also shows their continued belief in the company’s business strategy and future growth plans.
Company Plans Expansion Across Major Cities
The fresh funds will mainly be used to expand Orange Health Labs’ diagnostics operations and grow its presence in major cities across India. The company also plans to invest in improving its technology and operational capabilities.
Technology plays a major role in the startup’s business model. From booking tests online to managing sample collection and delivering reports, digital tools help the company provide a smoother customer experience.
By investing more in technology, Orange Health Labs aims to improve efficiency and maintain fast turnaround times for customers. The company believes that better technology can help it serve more people while maintaining service quality.
The startup is also looking to increase its reach in key urban markets where demand for at-home healthcare services is growing rapidly. Rising awareness about preventive healthcare and regular health check-ups has created new opportunities for companies operating in the diagnostics space.
Over the last few years, India’s health-tech and diagnostics sector has attracted strong investor interest. Consumers are increasingly choosing services that offer convenience, speed, and reliability, creating a favourable environment for companies like Orange Health Labs.
Revenue Growth Alongside Continued Investments
Orange Health Labs is yet to file its annual financial results for FY26. However, the company reported revenue of Rs 84 crore in FY25. During the same period, it posted a net loss of Rs 81 crore.
While the losses remain significant, they are not unusual for startups that are focusing heavily on expansion. Companies in the health-tech sector often invest large amounts in technology, operations, and customer acquisition before achieving profitability.
The latest funding will give Orange Health Labs additional resources to continue its growth plans and strengthen its position in the competitive diagnostics market.
As the company expands into more cities and improves its technology infrastructure, it aims to make healthcare testing more accessible and convenient for consumers across India.
With strong investor backing and a growing demand for at-home diagnostics services, Orange Health Labs is entering an important phase of growth. The upcoming Series C funding round is expected to help the company scale its operations and further strengthen its presence in India’s rapidly evolving healthcare sector.
