AI-powered B2B commerce startup WizCommerce has raised $8.3 million (around ₹79.5 crore) in a new bridge funding round from its existing investors. The fresh investment will help the company expand its business, improve its AI products, and grow faster in the US market.

The funding also increased the company’s valuation to $46.6 million (around ₹443 crore), showing strong confidence from investors in WizCommerce’s business model and future plans.

The latest funding comes less than a year after the startup raised $8 million in its Series A round. Existing investors have once again backed the company as it continues to build AI tools for the global wholesale industry.

Existing Investors Increase Their Investment

As part of the funding round, WizCommerce issued 7,565 Bridge Compulsorily Convertible Preference Shares (CCPS) at ₹1,05,051 per share.

Blume Ventures invested the highest amount at ₹28.72 crore (around $3 million). It was followed by Alpha Wave, which invested ₹23.94 crore. Peak XV Partners invested ₹14.36 crore, while Z47 put in ₹7.65 crore. 100X.VC also participated by investing ₹4.79 crore.

After this round, the company’s valuation increased from ₹333 crore to ₹443 crore (around $46.6 million).

The shareholding also changed after the investment. Blume Ventures is now the largest external shareholder with a 17.49% stake. It is followed by Peak XV Partners with 15.57%, Alpha Wave with 14.85%, Z47 with 10.38%, and 100X.VC with 2.61%.

WizCommerce was founded in 2020 by Divyaanshu Makkar and Vikas Garg. The startup was first launched as SourceWiz, helping exporters and manufacturers manage their business digitally. Later, the founders changed the company’s focus to the global B2B wholesale market and renamed it WizCommerce.

CEO Divyaanshu Makkar studied at IIT Delhi and Berkeley Haas and has previously worked at EY-Parthenon and Bessemer Venture Partners. Co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer Vikas Garg earlier worked at Zomato.

AI Products Help Businesses Manage Sales Faster

WizCommerce offers AI-powered software that helps wholesalers manage sales, orders, payments, and online stores. The company follows a mix of subscription and transaction-based pricing.

Its product portfolio includes WizOrder, which allows sales teams to take orders digitally even without an internet connection. WizShop helps businesses sell products through an online B2B store, while WizPay provides a secure payment system for large business transactions. Another product, WizStudio, uses AI to create professional product images from basic photos, helping companies save both time and money.

The startup has also launched several AI assistants for wholesale businesses.

One of them is Ella, an AI order entry assistant that can read purchase orders from emails, PDFs, scanned documents, handwritten notes, and even fax copies. It automatically collects order details, matches product codes, checks pricing and stock, and prepares orders for ERP systems within a few minutes.

The company has also introduced Kai, an AI sales assistant, along with AI tools for quote automation and sales support.

According to the company, its platform is used by more than 500 brands, over 700 sales representatives, and around 300,000 buyers. It also processes more than $100 million in Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) every year.

WizCommerce mainly serves businesses in industries such as home furnishings, furniture, gifts and accessories, food and beverages, and industrial products.

The platform connects with more than 50 business software systems, including NetSuite, QuickBooks Desktop, Shopify Plus, Sage MAS 200, and Epicor P21. These integrations help businesses connect their existing systems with WizCommerce more quickly.

Fresh Capital to Support US Growth and New AI Tools

The company’s India business reported ₹6.15 crore in operating revenue and a net loss of ₹17.36 crore during FY25. However, these numbers only represent its Indian operations because about 95% of WizCommerce’s total revenue comes from customers in the United States.

Since changing its business model from SourceWiz to WizCommerce, the startup has grown quickly. It reached $1 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) within just 15 months, showing strong demand for its AI-powered wholesale platform.

The company plans to use the new funding to expand its teams across engineering, AI, product development, and go-to-market operations. Hiring will take place across its offices in Bengaluru, Gurugram, Abu Dhabi, and the United States.

A major part of the investment will also be used to build an AI-powered workforce that can handle many front-office and back-office tasks for distributors. The goal is to help wholesale businesses replace manual work, spreadsheets, and outdated systems with faster and smarter AI-powered solutions.

With fresh funding, a higher valuation, and continued support from existing investors, WizCommerce is now preparing for its next phase of growth. As more wholesale businesses adopt AI technology, the startup aims to become a leading platform that helps distributors manage sales, payments, and operations more efficiently.
