Lab-grown diamond jewellery brand Aukera has raised ₹90 crore in a fresh debt funding round to support its next phase of growth. The funding was led by existing investor Alteria Capital, with participation from InnoVen Capital, Lighthouse Canton, and a leading bank.

The Bengaluru-based company said it will use the new funds to open more retail stores, develop new jewellery collections, hire more talent, and improve its omnichannel technology platform. The latest investment comes as Aukera continues to grow quickly and strengthen its presence in India’s premium lab-grown diamond jewellery market.

Aukera to Open More Stores in New Cities

Aukera follows an omnichannel business model but gives more importance to physical retail stores. The company believes customers prefer to see, touch, and try jewellery before making an expensive purchase.

Over the past year, Aukera has expanded rapidly, increasing its company-owned stores from 13 to 35. Along with its existing presence in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Delhi-NCR, the brand has also entered cities such as Pune, Lucknow, Dehradun, Visakhapatnam, and Noida.

The company plans to use the newly raised money to continue this expansion by opening more exclusive brand outlets in both existing and new markets. It also plans to invest in product design, technology, and customer experience.

Aukera believes that a strong offline presence is important for building trust among customers, especially as more people in India are becoming interested in lab-grown diamonds.

Revenue Growth and Strong Investor Support

Aukera has seen impressive growth in a short period. In FY24, its first full financial year, the company reported revenue of ₹5.2 crore and a net loss of ₹2.85 crore. By FY25, its revenue had increased to around ₹30–35 crore.

The company is now operating at an annualised revenue run-rate (ARR) of nearly ₹200 crore, showing strong demand for its products.

The latest debt funding comes after Aukera raised $15 million (around ₹124 crore) in a Series B equity funding round in mid-2025. That round was led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from Fireside Ventures, Sparrow Capital, Prath Ventures, and Alteria Capital.

Earlier, in August 2024, the company had raised $3.2 million (around ₹26.7 crore) in its Series A funding round.

After the Series B investment, Aukera’s valuation increased nearly 4.5 times to around ₹604 crore. Fireside Ventures currently owns a 19.1% stake in the company, while Peak XV Partners holds around 15%. Co-founders Lisa Mukhedkar and Kumar Saurabh each continue to own a 24.1% stake.

The founders have set a long-term goal of building Aukera into a ₹1,000 crore brand within the next five to seven years. They believe that becoming a market leader in the lab-grown diamond industry will require investments of at least ₹1,000 crore.

Premium Products and Customer Trust Remain the Focus

Aukera has built its brand by focusing on quality instead of heavy discounting. The company uses only CVD (Chemical Vapour Deposition) lab-grown diamonds and says every diamond goes through more than 150 quality checks before reaching customers.

All jewellery is certified by the International Gemological Institute (IGI). The company also uses GemEx BrillianceScope technology to select solitaire diamonds with high levels of brilliance, fire, and sparkle.

Its product range includes India’s first lab-grown uncut polki collection, the Champagne Diamond collection with stones up to 20 carats, The Ashtalakshmi Solitaire collection, and The Orchid Collection.

To increase customer confidence, Aukera offers a Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty that covers polishing, resizing, and repairs. Customers also get buyback, exchange, and upgrade options for their jewellery.

The company is also working on social initiatives through its “Share the Sparkle” programme. Under this initiative, Aukera supports the education of one girl child through the Sunbird Trust for every jewellery piece sold.

India’s lab-grown diamond jewellery market is becoming more competitive, with brands such as Titan’s Beyon, GIVA, Jewelbox, COLUXE, Fiona Diamonds, Limelight Diamonds, and Palmonas expanding in the segment.

With fresh funding, fast business growth, and a growing retail network, Aukera is looking to strengthen its position in India’s premium lab-grown diamond jewellery market while working towards its long-term growth plans.
