Bengaluru-based wealthtech startup Rovia has raised $1 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Antler India, giving the young company a strong boost as it looks to simplify wealth management for professionals with stock-based compensation.

The funding round also included participation from CDM Capital, AC Ventures, Operators Studio, and several angel investors from India and the United States. The fresh capital will be used to strengthen the company’s technology platform, expand its team, and support future growth.

Founded in 2025 by Shivang Badaya and Arnav Grover, Rovia is building a platform designed for employees who receive company shares, stock options, and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) as part of their compensation.

Solving a Costly Challenge for Global Professionals

Many professionals working for global technology companies face difficulties when managing their stock-based wealth. Converting shares into cash, transferring money across countries, and handling tax requirements often involve high costs and complex processes.

Rovia aims to solve these problems through a single platform that allows users to manage, diversify, and reinvest their equity compensation more efficiently. The company believes many international employees lose a significant portion of their wealth due to foreign exchange charges, remittance fees, and limited access to suitable financial infrastructure.

By reducing these barriers, Rovia hopes to make wealth management simpler and more accessible for professionals around the world.

Strong Early Growth Attracts Investor Interest

Despite being a newly launched startup, Rovia has already shown promising traction. The company says its assets under management have been growing by 100% month-on-month since its beta launch. It is currently tracking more than $60 million worth of RSUs and equity compensation assets from employees across more than 300 companies.

The startup has also secured registration in the United States as an SEC-registered investment adviser, an important step in building trust and expanding its services globally.

Commenting on the investment, Antler India said the founders’ experience in fintech and cross-border financial services gives them a strong understanding of customer needs. With fresh funding and growing demand for equity wealth management solutions, Rovia is now focused on building what it describes as a complete wealth operating system for professionals worldwide.
