India’s startup ecosystem is getting a major boost as startup discovery platform Ideabaaz and global investment platform BeyondSeed have announced a new ₹100 crore investment initiative. Called “IdeabaazBeyondSeed100,” the program aims to help early-stage startups grow by providing funding, mentorship, industry connections, and business support.
The initiative is designed to do more than just invest money. It will help founders gain access to experienced mentors, investors, networking opportunities, and guidance needed to build and scale their businesses. The fund will mainly support startups that are part of the Ideabaaz ecosystem and connect them with both Indian and international investors.
The launch comes at a time when India’s startup sector continues to grow rapidly, especially in areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), fintech, healthcare, and direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands. Through this new initiative, Ideabaaz and BeyondSeed aim to create a stronger support system for entrepreneurs who are looking to turn their ideas into successful businesses.
Fund Offers More Than Just Capital
Unlike traditional investment programs that mainly provide financial support, IdeabaazBeyondSeed100 is focused on helping startups in multiple ways. Along with funding, selected startups will receive mentorship, visibility, strategic guidance, investor access, and business development support.
Many early-stage founders face challenges such as finding the right investors, expanding their customer base, and building strong business networks. The new initiative aims to solve these problems by offering a complete growth platform rather than just a funding cheque.
The partnership combines Ideabaaz’s startup discovery network with BeyondSeed’s investment expertise. Together, they hope to identify promising startups from across India and help them grow faster.
BeyondSeed has already invested in several startups in sectors such as sustainable fashion and consumer products. The company has also announced plans to make at least 25 investments as it expands its presence in India’s startup ecosystem.
Ideabaaz Startup Fest 2026 to Play a Key Role
The upcoming Ideabaaz Startup Fest 2026 will be one of the main platforms for identifying startups for the new fund. The five-day event will be held from August 26 to August 30, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
The event is expected to bring together more than 300 selected startups and over 150 investors from India and abroad. It will also attract industry experts, mentors, business leaders, and media representatives.
The festival will include startup exhibitions, networking sessions, awards, investor meetings, and a large Demo Day where founders can present their businesses directly to investors.
For many startups, events like these provide valuable opportunities to secure funding, build partnerships, and gain market exposure. Organisers believe the Startup Fest will become an important platform for discovering high-potential startups that can benefit from the ₹100 crore initiative.
Accelerator Program and Reality Show Add More Opportunities
Along with the investment fund, BeyondSeed has also launched the BeyondXcelerate D2C India 2026 Cohort in partnership with Fynd, DBS Bank, and Ideabaaz.
The accelerator program is designed for startups working in sectors such as D2C, AI, fintech, and healthcare technology. Participants will receive mentorship, business scaling support, and opportunities to connect with investors through both online and offline sessions.
A key highlight of the accelerator is its ₹5 crore spot funding pool, which will provide direct funding support to selected startups.
The new ₹100 crore initiative is also linked to the Ideabaaz reality television show, known as “Bharat’s Startup Manch.” Hosted by actor Pratik Gandhi, the show is broadcast on the Zee Network and streamed on ZEE5.
According to the organisers, the first season of the show helped facilitate more than ₹41 crore in funding commitments. The new fund will focus on startups participating in Ideabaaz Season 2, creating a pathway from television exposure to investment opportunities.
With plans to increase its investment activity in India, BeyondSeed’s partnership with Ideabaaz highlights the growing confidence in Indian entrepreneurs.
