Indian Startups See Strong Growth, Fresh Funding and Business Expansion

Indian startup ecosystem continues to remain active, with several companies reporting higher revenues, raising fresh funds, and expanding their businesses across different sectors. From beauty and jewellery brands to fintech and AI startups, the growth momentum remains strong despite market challenges.

Startups Report Strong Revenue Growth

Beauty brand Renee Cosmetics posted a 37% increase in operating revenue, reaching Rs 440 crore in FY26. The company also reduced its losses, showing steady improvement in its financial performance. Jewellery startup Giva recorded an 89% jump in revenue to Rs 518 crore, while electric vehicle maker Euler Motors doubled its revenue to Rs 402 crore during the same period.

Wealth management platform Scripbox turned profitable in FY25 with a profit of Rs 12.7 crore. Sustainable home fragrance startup Phool.co also achieved profitability after growing its revenue by 54%.

Big Funding Deals Continue Across Sectors

Investor interest remained strong as several startups secured large funding rounds. Coralogix raised $200 million in Series F funding to expand its AI-powered data platform. Membership-based shopping platform FirstClub secured $55 million in a Series B round, helping double its valuation.

Giva is also planning to raise Rs 270 crore through debt financing to support its plan of expanding to more than 300 retail stores. Other notable fundraising activities included Centricity’s planned $30 million round, Zouk’s Rs 60.45 crore funding, and TrueFan AI’s $10 million Series A investment.

Early-Stage Startups Attract Investors

Young startups also received strong support from investors. The Sweet Change raised Rs 1.7 crore in pre-seed funding after showing rapid revenue growth. Startups such as Gabit, Legend of Toys, Holiday Tribe, Zuvees and Yes Madam also secured fresh investments to expand their operations.

Other startups including Phab, Fraganote, Sychedelic, Bombay Banta, Instafix and The EleFant successfully raised funds to strengthen their businesses.

Acquisitions and Strategic Moves Shape the Market

Business activity remained strong with Amaze Holdings making acquisitions to expand its presence, while travel platform Ziptrrip acquired HelloTravel. Meanwhile, PhysicsWallah decided not to enter direct student lending and will instead work with NBFC partners to offer education financing solutions.

With rising revenues, continued funding support and ongoing expansion plans, India’s startup ecosystem continues to show resilience and growth across multiple industries.
