Precision oncology startup 4baseCare has raised a total of ₹128 crore in its extended Series B funding round. The Bengaluru-based company, which is backed by Infosys and other investors, plans to use the fresh capital to expand its cancer testing network, grow its AI platform, and enter more international markets.
The latest funding includes ₹38 crore raised from growX Ventures and existing investors. This comes after the company secured ₹90 crore in the first close of its Series B round in January 2026. Investors in that round included Ashish Kacholia, Lashit Sanghvi, and Yali Capital.
Founded in 2018, 4baseCare focuses on precision oncology, a field that uses genomic data to help doctors choose the most suitable treatment for cancer patients. The company has been working to make advanced cancer testing more accessible and affordable across India and other regions.
Company Plans Global Expansion and More Hospital Labs
4baseCare will use the newly raised funds to expand its network of hospital-linked genomics laboratories. The company plans to launch 25 new lab partnerships over the next 18 months across India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Central Asia.
As part of this expansion, the startup aims to enter 8 to 10 new countries. It also wants to increase its testing capacity from around 1,500 tests per month to between 8,000 and 10,000 tests every month.
The company has been growing steadily in recent years. It reported revenue of more than ₹35 crore in FY25 and is aiming to reach ₹100 crore in revenue within the next 12 to 18 months.
4baseCare has already expanded its infrastructure in several markets. In October 2024, it launched a genomics laboratory at Dubai Science Park in partnership with Innovate Life Sciences. The facility received CAP accreditation in March 2025, allowing it to meet international quality standards.
The Dubai lab now serves patients and healthcare providers across the Middle East and several nearby regions. The company has also launched the Philippines’ first clinical genomics laboratory and opened an advanced genomics facility in Bengaluru, which was inaugurated by Infosys founder N. R. Narayana Murthy in May 2025.
AI Platform OncoTwin Becomes Key Growth Focus
A major part of the company’s future strategy revolves around OncoTwin, its AI-powered cancer care platform.
OncoTwin works by finding patients with similar clinical and genomic profiles, often called “digital twins.” By comparing treatment outcomes from similar cases, the platform helps researchers and doctors better understand how different therapies may work for a patient.
The technology recently gained attention after the company presented results from its OncoTwin-3D model at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) conference in 2026.
The model combines CT scan data, blood test results, patient information, and genomic data to predict treatment responses in cancer patients. According to the company, the platform was developed and tested using international datasets and showed promising results.
The innovation has also been recognised globally. OncoTwin was selected for the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s Innovation Hub Challenge 2025 programme in New York, where it will undergo further validation using global healthcare datasets.
Focus on Affordable Cancer Testing for Indian Patients
One of 4baseCare’s biggest strengths is its focus on creating cancer tests designed for Indian and South Asian populations. Many existing genomic databases are based largely on Western populations, which may not always provide the most accurate insights for patients from other regions.
To address this challenge, the company developed TARGT Indigene, India’s first population-specific tumour gene panel. The test studies more than 1,200 genes and was created using data from Indian cancer patients across multiple cancer types.
The company also offers other genomic testing solutions, including TARGT First for quick treatment decisions, TARGT Absolute for detailed genomic analysis, and the SoLiQ portfolio, which combines different types of DNA testing into a single report.
Apart from its technology, 4baseCare has partnered with healthcare organisations and pharmaceutical companies to make advanced cancer testing more affordable. Through programmes such as the LuNGS Alliance and collaborations with institutions like AIIMS Jammu, the company has helped reduce testing costs and improve access to precision oncology services.
With a team of more than 220 employees and a growing international presence, 4baseCare is now focusing on expanding its reach and bringing personalised cancer care to more patients worldwide. The latest ₹128 crore funding round is expected to support the company’s next phase of growth and global expansion.
